Unlike factory-fit alarms that are often defeated by experienced thieves within seconds, the Scorpion S5 uses advanced CAN bus integration to monitor your vehicle's perimeter, interior, tilt and motion — providing multiple layers of detection that work independently of your vehicle's standard security.

Installation is carried out at our Barlborough workshop by trained, approved installers. The system is hidden within your vehicle's existing wiring loom with no visible external components, making it virtually undetectable. A certificate of installation is provided for insurance purposes.

The Scorpion S5 is suitable for all modern vehicles and is particularly recommended for high-value cars, vans, and vehicles with keyless entry systems that are vulnerable to relay theft.

What's the difference between the Scorpion S5 and the Autowatch Ghost?+

The Scorpion S5 is a full alarm system with sirens, perimeter sensors, tilt and motion detection. The Autowatch Ghost is a CAN bus immobiliser — it prevents the engine from starting without a PIN code but does not have alarm functionality. Many customers choose to have both fitted for maximum protection.

Is the Scorpion S5 insurance-approved?+

Yes. The Scorpion S5 carries Thatcham approval, which is recognised by all major UK insurance providers. We provide a certificate of installation with every system we fit.

How long does installation take?+

Installation typically takes 2–3 hours depending on the vehicle. We carry out a full diagnostic check before and after installation.
